Elwin "Bud" W. Bladt, 81, of Avoca, Iowa passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at his residence.

He is survived by wife, Betty Bladt; son, Wayne (Mary Beth) Bladt, of Avoca; daughter, Dawn (Phil) Hobbs, of LaVista, Neb.; 3 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; brothers, Donald Bladt, of Shelby, Iowa and Willis (Norma) Bladt, of Avoca.

Visitation 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2007, with family greeting friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home, Avoca. Funeral services 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Pauley Jones Funeral Home, Avoca, Pastor Nancy Ross-Hullinger. Burial in Shelby Cemetery, Shelby, Iowa.
