Lyle W. Sharp, age 81, passed away November 14, 2007.

Lyle was born on August 1, 1926, to Alva and Violet Sharp. He served in the US Army and Navy during W.W. II. Lyle worked as a self employed carpenter.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna L. Sharp.

Survivors include daughters, Ardith Rumbaugh and husband, Glen of Kansas City, Mo., Leslie Camp; sons, Kelly Sharp and wife, Jody, all Council Bluffs, Douglas Sharp of Ft. Calhoun, Neb., Russell Sharp and wife, Denise of Versailles, Mo.; 19 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation Friday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home, followed by graveside services, 11:30 a.m. at Grange Cemetery. Military rites by American Legion Post 2.
