Mrs. Emma Franks

Mrs. Emma Franks, 78, 2308 S. 8th Street, a lifelong resident of Council Bluffs, Died Saturday at a local hospital. She was ill about three years.

Mrs. Franks was a charter member of the auxillary to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers and a member of the First Christian Church.She was the widow of John A. Franks who died in 1953.

Survivors include: daughter, Mrs Evylyn Johnston of Council Bluffs; three sons, Arthur, Joseph and John E, all of Council Bluffs; and several grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery.
