Darlene B. Schafer (1934-2007)

Darlene Beverly Wax Schafer, passed away at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Darlene was born November 28, 1934, to Lois Marie (Parker) Wax and Harry Albert Wax.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert R. Schafer, Sr. and brother, Jerome Miller.

Darlene will be sadly missed by her son, Robert R. Schafer, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Catherine S. Schafer; grandson, Robert R. Schafer, III; granddaughter, Amanda Leila Marie Schafer; sister Diane Bomer, brother-in-law, Randal Bomer and nephew, Scott Hiatt.

It was Darlene's wish for only a graveside service. There will be no viewing or visitation. Graveside services will be at Garner township cemetery October 27, 2007, at 1 p.m.
