Romaine T. Jones, age 72, passed away at his home on October 17, 2007.

He was born in Omaha, on October 3, 1935, and lived in the Glenwood and Council Bluffs area. Romaine worked in the construction field.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Judy Greer, and his brother, Duane Jones.

Survivors include his mother, Irene Still; 6 sons, Perry Jones and wife, Teresa, all Council Bluffs, Mark Jones, Clarinda, Iowa, Kelly Jones and wife, Laura, Glenwood,Iowa, Bryce Jones, Seattle, Wash., Brian and Arnold Jones, both Council Bluffs; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; brothers, Kenneth Still of Des Moines, Keith Still and wife, Marilyn of Council Bluffs; sister, Florence Welch and husband, Patrick of Ottumwa, Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews, aunt and uncles.

Visitation Friday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral services Saturday, 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment Garner Township Cemetery.
