James C. Morgal, age 76, passed away October 12, 2007.

He was born December 22, 1930, in Council Bluffs, to William and Bessie Morgal. James was a millwright for General Motors Company, for 35 years, and served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include daughter, Karen Smoot, of Harlan, Iowa; son, Tony, of Danville, Ill.; step son, James Morris Jr.; nieces, Angel Rasmussen and husband James, and their children, Jocelyn, Aundrea, Matthew, Amy Church and husband Jeremy, and their children, Chloe, Dallas, Brody, Isabelle; sister, Eleanor Mazzei, all Council Bluffs.

Visitation, Sunday, 1:30-3:30 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral services, Monday, 1 p.m., also at the funeral home. Rev. Bob Thompson, officiant. Interment, Garner Township Cemetery.
