Verle Gale Jones of Dana, NC passed away Saturday, 31 Mar 2007. He was 68 years old at the time of his death.

Graveside sevices were held at 1pm on Tuesday, 3 April at the Saluda City Cemetery, NC, with the Rev. Dan Blackwell officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by Hubert M. Smith American Legion Post 77, Hedrick Rhodes Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5206 and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 14. Shuler Funeral Home in Hendersonville, NC was in charge of the arrangements.

Verle Gale Jones was born in Shelby, IA on 20 Jan 1939, the son of the late Howard Albert JONES and Grace BAMSEY JONES.

Verle was preceded in death by two sons, Robin Dale JONES and Randy Eugene JONES.

He is survived by three children, Rhonda McDANIEL and her husband, Lee of Grandbay, AL, Darren JONES and his wife Jennifer of Holbert Cove in Saluda and Michael JONES and his finance, Frankie EDWARDS of Saluda; four grandchildren, Jonathan and his finance, April SHASTA and her fiance Rick WARD, Brandon and Britany and three great grandchildren Cassie, Massie and Katie; two sisters, Lola JONES and Bonnie DONALDSON, both of Harlan, IA; and nephew, Bill DONALDSON, of Clinton, UT.
