LeRoy Sydney Wilson of Billings, MT passed away Tuesday, 27 Mar 2007 in Billings. He was 84 years old at the time of his death. Memorial services were held Saturday, 31 Mar at the First Presbyterian Church in Cody, WY.

LeRoy Sydney Wilson was born 15 Oct 1922 in Avoca, IA to Noble & Alta Wilson.

After graduating from high school in Avoca, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.

LeRoy married Marcia Huff on 18 Mar 1944 in Odessa, TX and was discharged from the Air Force with the rank of Sergeant in 1946.

He was employed at the Omaha [NE] airport until 1953 when he and Marcia moved to Cody where he was employed by Husky Oil Aviation Division, retiring as Airport manager in 1982.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Pauline Carter. He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Marcia of Billings; sons Allen (Marsha) Wilson of Loveland, CO, and Mark (Sheila) Wilson of Billings; a daughter, Anita (Darrell) Collins of Crescent City, CA; brother Darrell (Phyllis) Wilson of Akron, IA; sister Virginia Roberts of Sierra Vista, AZ; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
