James Michael White of Hancock, IA passed away Saturday, April 2, 2007 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. He had attained the age of 64 years, 2 months and 16 days.

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 12 at 10:30 am at the Oakland [IA] United Methodist Church. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland was in charge of arrangements.

James Michael White, the son of Ira & Ann White, was born January 22, 1943 in North Omaha, NE.

He graduated from Omaha Tech High 1961. After initially working for Epson Lithographing, he went on to become a senior manager with Crown Cork and Seal until he retired to Oakland. He had worked the last two harvest seasons for the Hancock Elevator.

He was preceded in death by this parents. James is survived by his wife Marilyn of Hancock, his children, Ami Foss and husband Scott of Stillwater, MN, Steven White of Elizabeth, CO, Eric White and wife Malissa of Tijeras, NM and Stacey Hrabik and husband Charlie of Omaha; two stepchildren Jeff Hodges and wife Crystal of Oakland and Deanna Barker and husband of Papillion, NE; seven grandchildren and 8 step-grandchildren.
