Edward M. Clatterbuck (1937-2007)

Edward M. Clatterbuck, age 69, of Council Bluffs, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Edward was born December 7, 1937 in Council Bluffs to the late Wesley and Maxine Clatterbuck. Edward attended Abraham Lincoln High School and was a member of the Army National Guard.

Edward played Bass as a professional musician in the metro area for the past 51 years, most recently with the Lonny Lynn Orchestra. Ed and his wife Sharon are also known for their hand crafted keepsakes and bird houses they sold throughout the midwest for many years.

Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Maxine Clatterbuck.

Survivors include wife of 51 years Sharon; sons, Edward and wife, Terri, of Yutan, Neb., Ron and wife, Pam, of Arvada, Colo.; sister, Yvonne Stucker, of Council Bluffs, Connie Hecker and husband, Mike, of Silver City, Iowa; grandchildren, Chelsea Gatewood, of Yutan, Sundance Carson, of New Braunfel, Texas, and Tanner and Olivia Carman, of Arvada, Colo.

Visitation Friday 6-8 p.m. at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral services Saturday 11 a.m. also at Funeral Home. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.

Family will direct memorials.
