Gerald F. "Jerry" Masker, age 68, of Bentley, Iowa, passed away August 13, 2007, at his home.

Jerry was born November 3, 1938 in Neola, Iowa to the late Edward S. and Mary Loretta (Ring) Masker. He graduated from Underwood, Iowa High School in 1957 and served eight years in the Iowa National Guard. Jerry was a route driver for Frito Lay for 35 years retiring in 1996. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Neola.

Jerry was preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard and Ed Masker.

He is survived by his sister, Marilyn Masker-Allen and husband, Al, of Syracuse, Neb.; nieces, Debbie Pope, of Lewis, Iowa, Buffy Forrester and Jodi Meyer, both of Underwood; nephews, Doug Masker, of Battle Creek, Iowa, Dwayne Masker, of Atlantic, Iowa, Dan Masker, of Underwood; sisters-in-law, Jackie Masker, of Underwood, Judy Masker, of Anita, Iowa; great nieces, nephews and one great great nephew.

Visitation with the family, Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral Service, Friday, 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary with Monsignor Lawrence Beeson and Ken Ring officiating. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery in Neola with a lunch following at St. Patrick's Parish Hall.

Memorials to the Underwood Fire and Rescue or St. Patrick's Church Altar and Rosary Society preferred.
