Wilhelmina R. "Willie" Cade, age 94, passed away August 12, 2007, at Bethany Lutheran Home.

Willie was born November 6, 1912 to the late Frank and Ellen Knofler, in Pacific Junction, Iowa, and graduated from Blair High in 1932.

Willie and Alvin S. Cade were married on June 22, 1933, and spent 50 years together before his passing in 1983. Willie worked at Hayden House in Union Station, in Omaha, Neb. until retirement in 1966. A member of Faith Lutheran Church, Willie lived in her home on 23rd Avenue for 57 years.

She is preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Bryan Cade and Kristina Cade; 3 sisters, Elvera Beckwith, Gladys Avery, and Lola Stott; 2 brothers, Rudolph and Leonard Knofler.

Willie is survived by sons, Robert Cade and wife Betty, of Council Bluffs, Warren Cade and wife Marilyn, of Rockford, Ill., Roland Cade and wife Marsha, of Morgan Hill, Calif.; daughter, Sharon Trueblood and friend Steven Morgan, of San Jose, Calif.; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Frances Metzler, of Omaha, Cleo Ellinger, of St.Louis, Mo.; brother, Verle Knofler and wife Marge, of Omaha.

Prayer service Friday 6:00 p.m. with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral services Saturday 10:30 a.m. Faith Lutheran Church. Rev. Ron Rosenkaimer, Pastor, officiant. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery with luncheon to follow back at church.

Family suggest memorials to Faith Lutheran and Bethany Lutheran Home.
