Rollo Arthur, age 84, of Council Bluffs, passed away July 28, 2007 in Battle Creek, Neb.

Rollo retired after 34 years with the Omaha Corps of Engineers. Since retirement he and his wife have worked at Creighton University as standardized patients in the education of medical students.

According to his wishes, Rollo's body was donated to the Nebraska Anatomical Board for education purposes.

He is preceded in death by parents, Rollo and Faye Arthur; son and daughter-in-law, Phil Arthur and Jeanette Arthur Stensvad; brothers Russ and Harold.

He is survived by Nellie Arthur, his wife of 64 years; children and spouses, Jon Arthur and wife Karen, Joan Mozer and husband Don; son-in-law Bruce Stensvad; 12 grand-children; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Chet, of Frankfort, Ill.; sister, Thelma Phelps, of Lincoln City, Ore.

Visitation will be held August 6, from 4-8 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, in Council Bluffs. Memorial service August 7 at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Westminster Presbyterian Church or Disabled American Veterans.
