Lonnie Croson

BEDFORD - The funeral for Lonnie Croson, 44, of Bedford will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Ritchie Funeral Home in Bedford with the Rev. Ted DeHass officiating.

Mr. Croson died Oct. 28 at home.

He was born Sept. 8, 1958, in Council Bluffs to Cloyd and Patricia Belle (McCelland) Croson. He was a 1976 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. He was born and grew up in Council Bluffs. He moved to Bedford where he worked for the Clarinda Treatment Complex and at various restaurants as a cook.

Mr. Croson and his wife, Cindy (Schrodt), were married March 28, 1980.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Tracy Ehrecht and husband, Shannon, of Bedford and Heather Croson of Bedford; mother, Patricia Croson, of Council Bluffs; one sister, Linda Shelden, and husband, Roger, of Council Bluffs; several brothers; one grandson.

Visitation with the family will be tonight from 7 to 8 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bedford City Cemetery.
