AVOCA - The funeral for Leslie L. Linn, 89, of Harlan will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Shelby Lutheran Church in Shelby with the Rev. Dale Jenson officiating.

Mr. Linn died Oct. 29 at Creighton Medical Center in Omaha.

He was born in Shelby. He was a farmer. He was a member of Shelby Lutheran Church. Was a past member of the Shelby School Board and the Shelby Cemetery Board.

Mr. Linn and his wife, Grace, were married 55 years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include four daughters, Patricia Phipps and husband, Larry, of Iowa Falls, Jill Lindstrom of Bettendorf, Phyllis Baldwin and husband, Michael, of Keensburg, Colo., and Lora Dosen of Omaha; one son, Dennis, and wife, Gina, of Pella; one brother, Frank, and wife, Ann, of Sheffield; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Visitation with the family will be tonight from 7 to 8 at Knutson Funeral Home in Avoca. Burial will be in Shelby Cemetery.
