Ricki Johnson, 63, passed away at Bright Kavanagh House Friday, January 6, 2012.

Ricki was born February 10, 1948, in Des Moines, Iowa. He enjoyed barbeques with family and friends. Ricki worked as a backhoe operator for Douglas Construction.

Ricki is survived by his brothers, Micky Dixon and Donny Cameron; children, Ricki and Linda Johnson, Shannon (Tony) Johnson, Sean (Dawn) Johnson and nephew, Mick Jones; grandchildren, Ricki Johnson, Savannah Smith, Cassie Madewell, Randy Johnson, Katie Johnson and Sean Johnson; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Kenworthy, Joseph Smith, Brayden Smith and Max Johnson; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Cameron, and brothers, Joe Johnson and Dennis Sexton.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2012, with cremation to follow at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
