Michael “Mike” Van Dama passed away January 13, 2012, at the Marshalltown Medical Surgery Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.

Mike will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather and for his strong work ethic and dedication. He was a painter by trade.

He is survived by his wife, Christina; son, Reggie Lopez (Amy Wells); daughter, LaKae Lopez (D.J. Pickens); grandchildren, Jalen Lopez and Nick Cristian; Godson, Raymond Thomas Lopez; parents, Connie and Jim Stevens; sisters, Alisa (Kert) Rector and Amber (Mike) McCord; and many nieces and nephews.
