Delores M. Gardner, 54, of Des Moines, IA, died Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Delores was born August 1, 1957 in Des Moines, IA and spent most of her life in Granite City, IL. She loved animals and was a fan of the St. Louis Rams and Cardinals. She was a life-long fan of Days of Our Lives, and enjoyed reading, crocheting and doing Suduko puzzles.

Delores was a very loving, caring person who would do anything for anyone. She married Steven Gardner on June 12, 2009 in Des Moines, IA. Other family includes her children; Sarah and Jacob Tester of Illinois, parents; Shirley Wilkinson (Ronald) and Roberto Ramirez of Des Moines, IA; sisters, Debbie Grimm of Urbandale, IA, Lydia (Butch) Sipes, Denise (Randy) Tellor and Rhonda (Dan) Abel all of Granite City, IL and Angel (Randy) Hagar of Omaha, NE; brothers, Robert (Julia) Ramirez, Raymond Ramirez of Des Moines, IA and Gene (Connie) Wilkinson of Granite City, IL; 19 Nieces and nephews and numerous extended family all who will miss her terribly.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Second Baptist Church, 2100 Illinois Avenue, in Granite City, IL.
