Warren, 49, died Saturday, January 8, 2011 of long term hypertension. A Celebration of Life service will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Caldwell-Raddatz Funeral Home, 8201 Hickman Road, Urbandale. A brief casual service will be held with stories from you his friends, and loved ones about Warren. Blue jean attire is welcome. Warren would have wanted to be comfortable, and would want you to be as well.
Warren was born on April 11, 1961 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Wendell and Donna North Hunter. He was currently employed as a Teachers Associate at Smouse Opportunity School/DMPS.
Survivors include his life partner of 16 years, Martin L. Haltom; parents, Wendell and Donna Hunter of Newell, IA; sisters, Twyla Armstrong, Robin (Bruce) Neiland, and Dawn Hunter; his pushy, bossy, best friend, Kirby Duke of Midnight Path (Great Dane); other relatives and friends. Watch and enjoy the dancing leaves, he will be watching with you.
