Sheedy, Sandra Lee (Burich) Passed away peacefully at age 70 on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. Sandy was born February 11, 1941, in Hutchinson, MN to Irvin and Mary S. (Slange) Burich. She was a loving wife of 44 years, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband James D. Sheedy, mother Mary S. (Slanga) Burich, brother Thomas A. Burich, sister Nanci K. (Burich) Thomas, daughter Tata A. (Sheedy) Faber, son-in-law Eric J. Faber, granddaughter Kendall C. Faber, along with many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Irvin J. Burich. Sandy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
We would like to thank everyone who helped Sandy during her journey including the doctors and staff at Minnesota Oncology, the staff at Fairview Southdale Hospital, Fairview Hospice and Fairview Home Care and Hospice. Mass of the Christian Burial 11:00 AM, Friday, Pax Christi Catholic Church, 12100 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie. Visitation 5:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, Huber Funeral Home, 16394 Glory Lane, Eden Prairie, and one hour prior to the Mass at the Church. Private interment at St. Anastasia Cemetery.
