Arlene Holseid, 84, died on March 22, 2012, at Ramsey Village in Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 5625 Franklin Ave., Des Moines, with visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m., prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Arlene was born on May 8, 1927, in West Burlington, Iowa to Ruth Joy and Arthur Gibson. She married Fredrick Holseid on July 16, 1948. Arlene was a homemaker and cared lovingly for her daughter, Deborah and husband, Fred. She enjoyed cooking and reading all kinds of books. She was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church.
Arlene is survived by her husband, Fredrick and a daughter, Deborah Holseid of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
