Obituary
Daniel “Dan” James Clark a lifelong resident of Des Moines, Iowa passed away unexpectedly on the morning of February 25th, 2022, at the age of 53. He was born July 24th, 1968, to Dwight Sr. and Judith Clark.

Dan graduated from East High School in 1986. He absolutely enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of several bowling leagues where he bowled alongside his two best friends, his mother and father, for many years. Dan was a free spirit, he loved going for drives and just listening to music with no destination in mind, just enjoying the ride. To say he was a kind man would be an understatement, that man could make friends anywhere, in all his life he never met a stranger. Whether he had known you forever or had just met you, he would do anything in his power to help you and make your day better. His smile and laugh were contagious, it was hard not to be happy when you were around him.

He will leave lasting memories and a legacy through his children, Danielle (Jerry) Jones, and Derrick (Amanda) Clark. Grandchildren Keona, Jerry III, and Tyson Jones. His siblings Rebecca Clark, Dwight Clark Jr., And Barry (JoAnne) Clark. And many nieces and nephews.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Jeffrey Clark.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with information to follow.
