Charles James Hodges passed away on February 12, 2022 in Indianola, Iowa. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 5:00-8:00 p.m., with family present from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Bethel Chapel Cemetery in Woodburn, Iowa.

Chuck was born on January 25, 1946 to William “Verne” and Katherine Hodges. He joined the Navy in 1964, proudly serving his country until 1968. On June 7, 1975, he married the love of his life Pamala Jane Wilkins.

Chuck went to work for Massey Ferguson until 1982 before beginning a career at CemenTech, where he retired on January 26, 2007. While he was employed, Chuck took class at DMACC for AutoCad where he received straight A’s. In retirement, Chuck loved woodworking, camping, and fishing. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and football along with Wheel of Fortune. Chuck mostly loved spending time with his family who loved him dearly.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Pamala; children, Greg (Danielle) Hodges, Andrea (Tim) Fletchall, David Hodges, Jenny (Jason) Scott, Kayla (Tyler) Mason, Bobby Hodges, and Daryl O’Brien; 17 Grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, with another on the way; and a brother, Jack Hodges.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Elsie “Sue” Edwards, and a daughter, Sara Hodges.
