Vivian Frances Bankson, 81, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

Vivian was born February 15, 1930, in Independence, Iowa, to Milton and Anna Mae Hall. She retired in 1976 from the Federal Reserve Bank of Des Moines.

Vivian is survived by her children, grandchildren and a host of other extended family members and friends.

The family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, January 8, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. The funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home, followed by burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Mt. Auburn, Iowa.
