Louise E. Wright, 77, died of Alzheimer's disease on February 11, 2012, at the Kavanagh Hospice House on 56th in Des Moines, Iowa. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, at Iles Funeral Homes - Westover Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 2-3 p.m., on Thursday, February 16 at Westover Chapel.

Louise was born on January 29, 1935, in Des Moines, Iowa to Alma (Otto) and John Craig. Louise grew up in Des Moines and attended East High School. She married William Wright on February 7, 1953. She worked for the West Des Moines Senior Center until her retirement. Louise loved anything purple, gardening, animals, music, and her family.

Louise is survived by her four daughters, Roxanne (Leonard) Rogers, Rosanne (Randy) Dickson, Suzanne (Mark) Connelly, and Dianne (Jay Harmon) Wright; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and her brother, John (Marietta) Craig. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alma Craig; husband, William (Bill); daughter, Joanne Wright; and grandson, Daniel Wright.
