Helen Marie Schaudt passed away in Des Moines, Iowa on February 8, 2012 at the age of 90 years. Helen was born on October 1, 1921 in Cambridge, Iowa to Elmer and Agnes Severson.

Helen experienced many ups and downs over the years, but through it all maintained a steadfast faith in God. She cared about others and helped many, many people along the way.

Helen is survived by her sons, Bruce (Anne) and Curt (Monika) Smith, stepchildren Bill, Karl and Karen Schaudt, grandchildren Vanessa and Karlin Levine-Smith and Kayla, Kyle and Andy Schaudt, and great granddaughters Genevive Schaudt and Makenzie and Addison Barlgeloh.
