Scott A. Waychoff, 53, passed away February 8, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Elaine Waychoff. Scott is survived by son, Jeffrey and daughter, Suzette; sister, Denise Waychoff McPherson; brother, Glenn Waychoff, Jr.; nieces, nephews and a large extended family.

Born October 11, 1958 in Des Moines, Scott graduated from East High in 1977 and from the University of Iowa in 1981. He was a CFP, working over 30 years in banking, insurance and finance. He loved exercise, especially golf and skiing. Scott was devoted to his work, Twin Cities charities, and, mostly deeply, to his family.

Services were held at Mt. Olivet Lutheran, Minneapolis on Monday. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 25 at Union Park Presbyterian Church in Des Moines. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either church or to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
