Raymond "Ray" Beall, 68, passed away at his home Friday, February 3, 2012.

Ray was born July 12, 1943 in Des Moines to John and Mildred Beall. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War. Ray retired from Titan Tires.

Ray was an avid sportsman and particularly enjoyed golf, baseball and bowling.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Norma Jean; son, Bill; sisters-in-law, Mary Kay Beall and Sue Loughrey.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard "Dick" Beall.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm, Tuesday February 7, 2012 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Burial to follow the service at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will occur Monday evening at the funeral home from 5 to 8 pm.
