Judith Anne Moon Finley, 66, a lifelong resident of West Des Moines left us on January 22, 2012. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and parents, Melvin and Hazel Moon.

She is survived by her sister, Janet Kay Moon Lindeberg and her brother in law, Richard Lindeberg of Timnath, Colorado. Also surviving are her nieces, Kim (Alan) Strope, Ashlee (Mitch) Janasek and Megan (Mitch) Cheese; great nieces and nephews, Taylor (Cody) Walker, Taryn and Treagan Strope, Harper and Finley Janasek and Westin and Sutter Cheese; as well as a great-great niece, Marley Walker. Also surviving are her aunt, Maxine Hoffman and cousins, Tom, Rick, Paul, Jeanie Kay, Christy, Cindy and Jill.

Judy spent her life caring for others, loving others above herself including her family, friends and pets. She revered her parents, their values and ancestors she thought of as her "founding life-force." She loved her sister and those bonds endured to the day of her death. She will always be remembered by her large, extended family and the loving respect she bestowed on those who were least among us. God blesses those who have not, those who have and those who fall between the cracks. All are due respect as she respected those who came before her and all who shall follow.
