Raymond Merle Smith, 71, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital from heart failure. A celebration of his life will be held on his birthday, April 8, 2011 (location to be determined at a later date).

Raymond loved collecting antique cars and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was employed by MTA for 28 years before retiring.

Raymond is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Linda Kay; sister, Joyce Smith (Bruce Curtis); son, Scott Alan (Loura); other children, Michael and Suzie; grandchildren, Zachary and Nicole; mother-in-law, Leta Williamson and several other family members.
