Kathleen Lint, 90, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Norwalk Nursing and Rehab Center. A memorial visitation will be Sunday, January 29 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Care, 7975 University Blvd. in Clive. A private family burial will take place at a later date at Pine Hill Cemetery.

Kathleen was born and raised in Polk City and retired from Western Union. She resided in Seattle, WA, Minneapolis, MN and Bridgeton, MO before moving to West Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Bertha Lint; sister, Marjorie Rutan and an infant brother.

Kathleen is survived by her sister, Lois M. (Roy) Ortlip; nieces, Carolyn Rutan of Ft. Worth, TX and Becky McNamara of West Des Moines; great-niece, Nicole Rutan of West Des Moines and two great-great nieces and one nephew.
