1920 - 2011

Michael C. McClavy 90, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2011 surrounded by loved ones at Trinity Center at Luther Park. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 31, 2011 at All Saints Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour before Mass.

Michael was born April 25, 1920 in St. Mary's, Iowa, second child of Edward and Julia McClavy. Michael worked at Dahl's Food Stores for 45 years as comptroller and retired in 1985.

Michael enjoyed watching baseball and football games attended several World Series games.

This gentle man will be missed by brother-in-law; Albert Schmidt, sister-in-law; Mildred McClavy, nine nieces, three nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; John (Jack) McClavy and Patrick McClavy, and one sister, Helen Schmidt.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you the the staffs of Trinity Center at Luther Park and Mercy Hospice.
