Toyia Strode, 56, died May 9, 2011. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Thursday May 19 at Henderson's Funeral Home.

Left to cherish Toyia's memory are her children Toyia Strode Jr. and Jason Strode; mother, Geneva Hughes; step-father, Johnson Hughes; two sisters and six brothers. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register Tues 17 May 2011.
