Hilda Arbiloff, 74, of 1317 Fifty seventh St. died of cancer Wednesday at Northwest Community Hospital.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Dunn's Funeral Home, with burial in Woodland Cemetery.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Des Moines since 1970. She had operated a news stand in New York City.

She is survived by two daughters, Lenore Smith of Des Moines and Joan Eidman of New York; a brother, Joseph Brown of Des Moines; two sisters, Anne Leaf of Chicago, Ill., and Selma Merman of Boca Raton, Fla.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Central Iowa.
