Jo Ann M. Van Trees, 72, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, from ovarian cancer. She was born March 25, 1939, to Chester and Neva Keith in Des Moines.

Jo Ann graduated from North High School, and worked as a print designer at various places throughout the United States.

Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 45 years, Howard; sisters, Myra Haley of Yuba City, CA, and Mary Gipe of Mingo; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Keith of Alexandria, MN, and Janice Keith of Chariton; many nieces; nephews; and beloved friends.

The family will greet friends from 12 to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2011, at St. Paul Presbyterian Church, 6426 Merle Hay Road, Johnston. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Per her wishes, cremation will follow services. ~ The Hamilton Funeral Home, Des Moines, Iowa 11 Mar 2011.
