Mingo Items – The death of Mr. John Gibson of Farrar, occurred early Monday morning. Funeral services will be held at Buena Vista church, Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock.

Mr. John Gibson an old and well known resident of this vicinity died at his home at Farrar Monday morning after a long illness. The funeral was conducted by his pastor, Dr. Nutt, at Buena Vista church, Wednesday and interment made at Peoria. He leaves his wife, foster daughter, Mrs. Andrew Koph, her three children, several brothers, sisters and other kin with many good friends.
