Marie Pagitt, 64, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa. She was born October 9, 1947 in Geissen, Germany, to Robert and Lina Pagitt.

Marie loved with her whole heart and would give until she had nothing left.

Marie is survived by her mother, Lina "Brixie" Pagitt; daughter, Melissa "Missie" (Aaron) McGuire; grandsons, Jordan and Jacob; and five sisters.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 15, 2012, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, September 14, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Princess Pagitt.
