Ashley Stewart, 18, passed away on May 3, 2011. Services will be on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines with visitation from 12 to 1 p.m. and the service at 1 p.m.

Ashley was born on December 23, 1992 to Kim and Jon Stewart. She was a student a Ruby Van Meter School and participated in Special Olympics. Ashley always had a laugh and a smile for her family and her friends who cared for her at ChildServe. She loved the outdoors and the colors orange and hot pink.

She will be greatly missed by her mom, Kim Stewart; father, Jon (Kari) Stewart; grandparents, Jill and Tal Zagar; her aunt, Wendy (Mark) Wassink; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ashley was preceded in death by her grandparents, LaVerne and Shirley Stewart; and great-grandparents, Kathryn and Edward Dywer, Fern and Tony Zagar.
