Ernest C. Berry, 94, of 7810 S. W. 11th St. died of a heart ailment Thursday at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Southtown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Berry was born in Atlantic and had lived in Des Moines for 63 years. He was retired from Pepsi Cola, where he worked as a maintenance engineer. Following his retirement, he worked as a maintenance engineer for Park Avenue Christian Church, where he was also a member.
Survivors include a son, Jack of Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Norma Kenworthy of Des Moines; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends may call until service time today at the funeral home.
