Patricia "Pat" Kellis, 85, left us to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 29, 2013, from a heart ailment.

Pat was born December 25, 1927 to Bert and Mildred Chittenden in Des Moines. She was married to Bill Kellis on August 26, 1948. They were married until his death December 11, 1999.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two sisters, Mary Lou and Carolyn; two brothers, Jess and Atwell; a grandson and a granddaughter.

She is survived by her brother, Bobby of Missouri; three sons, Mike of Altoona, Bill II of Altoona and Steve (Rebecca) of Milo; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; other loving relatives and many special friends.

Pat was a member of Lutheran Church of the Cross where, until she became ill, was active and made many friends which she enjoyed, along with her family.

The family will greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Hamilton's Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. SW. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2013 at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 1701 8th St. SW., with burial to follow at Altoona Cemetery.
