JoDee Davis, Altoona

JoDee Lavon (Davis) Kern, 54, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on February 18, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with information to be posted on Facebook.

JoDee was born in Des Moines on May 24, 1962. She was a 1980 graduate of Southeast Polk High School and had recently began continuing her education at DMACC.

She enjoyed being with friends, and most of all spending time with her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Matson Davis, her siblings Connie Davis, Dawn (Larry) Otto, Rich Davis, & Carol Davis, along with nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Davis, her niece, Stephanie Schnoebelen, and grandparents.
