Albert E. (Ab) Mason, 47, of 514 E. Douglas ave., died Thursday at Mercy Hospital after a three-year illness.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Lillys' Funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Hill cemetery.
A native of Des Moines, Mr. Mason was a printer. He last was employed by the Wallace Homestead Co.
Surviving are his wife, Esther; his father, John F. Mason; five brothers, Fred, Harrison, Roy and John, all of Des Moines, and Nathan, Fremont, Neb.; two half brothers, Stephen Mason, Des Moines; and Clyde Lyons, Sigourney; and three sisters, Mrs. James J. Gordon and Mrs. Albert E. Crook, both of Des Moines, and Mrs. Myrtle Swails, Portland, Ore.
