EMMA WRIGHT RITES ON MONDAY

Services for Mrs. Emma C. Wright will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the E. Carl White funeral home, 2505 Grand ave. The Rev. C.C. Bacon will officiate. Burial will be at Pine Hill.

Mrs. Wright died at Richmond, Va., Thursday. She had lived in Des Moines for many years before moving to Richmond 25 years ago. She was a member of the First Methodist church at Richmond and was a former member of the Trinity Methodist church here.

Mrs. Wright is survived by: three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Cook of Des Moines, a past grand matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Mrs. Robert Elam and Florence Wright, both of Richmond: three sons, Maj. Ernest C. Wright of Pasadena, Cal., Charles of Seattle, Wash., and Arthur of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Harriet Wise of Miami Beach, Fla.; and a brother, F.E. Underwood of Des Moines.
