Virginia Turpen
Kansas City, MOVirginia Turpen was born August 14, 1924, in Detroit, Michigan, to parents Frank and Wladyslawa Ostroswki. She passed away September 15, 2012.
She was the fourth of six children and grew up on a dairy farm near Port Sanilac, MI. Virginia lived in Waukee, Iowa, for 25 years before relocating to live with her daughter. She was a faithful member of the Redfield Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is survived by her daughter, Annette Crees; a granddaughter, Kristen Crees; a great-grandson, Dylan Crees of Ankeny, Iowa; and a brother, Carl Ostrowski, of Carsonville, Michigan.
Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa. A graveside memorial will be set at a later date. Friends will be notified.
