David Heinemann, Jr., 50, died Wednesday, February 6, 2013.

David was born April 23, 1962 in upstate New York to David Sr. and Grace Heinemann. He grew up in West Des Moines and graduated from Valley High School. David liked guitars and loved working on old Chevys with Little Dave. He was a carpenter and mechanic and owned Dave's Repairs in Milo, Iowa.

David is survived by his wife, Patty; sons, David Jr. and James Hacker; mother, Grace Delapp (Dave McPherson); sisters, Bev Heinemann and April Lawrence (Nancy Simon); and niece, Sara Heinemann.

He is preceded in death by his father, David Sr.

There will be a Celebration of Life at David's home in Milo at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013.
