Jim Quigley, 66, died February 6, 2013 of lung cancer.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, February 11, 2013 at Memorial Services of Iowa funeral home (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd), with burial following at Iowa Veterans Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Jim was born April 4, 1946 and raised in Des Moines, graduating from North High school and Drake University. Jim was in the Air Force from 1964 to 1969, stationed in Thailand where he met his wife of 43 years, Noy. He worked in health insurance, specializing in workman's compensation until retiring after a stroke in 2003.

He is survived by his wife, Noy, two sons; Steve (Danica) and Bob (Kellie), three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, brother, Larry (Charlotte) and sister, Diane (Nile). He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Lenore Quigley.

Memorials may be made to the Animal Rescue League.
