John Thompson, 50, passed away November 26, 2012. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 20 at 1 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Care, 7975 University Blvd, Clive. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.

John was born January 25, 1962 in Des Moines. He is survived by his mother, Fran Thompson; siblings: Robert Thompson, Steve (Mariahelda) Thompson, Mark Thompson, David Thompson, and Mary (Richard) Overton; son, Christian Thompson; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Thompson.
