Marguerite Bates, 82, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Bright Kavanagh House. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. A visitation will be from 9am until service time on Monday. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.

Marguerite is survived by her son, Larry (Lynda); granddaughter, Kayla Bates; grandson, Erik (Khalia) Bates; and brother, Lloyd Deierling.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed to Bright Kavanagh House.
