Kathryn Sue (Smith) Addleman passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Taylor House in Des Moines. Kathryn was born on June 24, 1951 in Des Moines, Iowa to Marvin and Marie Smith. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle, with burial to follow in the Allen Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Peterson Funeral Home. Kathryn is survived by her mother, Marie Moore of Grants Pass, Oregon; husband, David Addleman of Ankeny; sons, Kenneth (Bobbi) McCaughey of Carlisle (yes, the father of the Carlisle septuplets), Jason McCaughey of Newton, and Dana Addleman of Sheffield; brother, Michael Smith of Coos Bay, Oregon; sister, Ann (John) Stevenson of Murphy, Oregon. Kathryn is preceded in death by her father, Marvin Smith; brother, James Smith; sister, Donna Smith.
