David M. Hook is Dead at 36

David M. Hook, 36, truck driver for the Bos Truck Lines, Inc., was found dead in the kitchen of his home, 3213 E. Twelfth St., at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. He had been ill of a heart ailment for two weeks.

Hook was born in Colfax and lived in West Des Moines 19 years before moving to Des Moines.

In addition to his widow, Helen, Hook is survived by a son, Jerry, and a daughter, Vicki; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hook of West Des Moines; a brother, William of West Des Moines, and a sister, Mrs. Theda Libby of Des Moines.

Services will be at the McLaren Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Friday, with burial in Glendale Masonic Cemetery. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly the Newton Daily News, Colfax Clipper or Des Moines Register.
